They have terrible badminton experience. They don't send for matches, and they don’t teach proper stepping. Upsinde court teaching is like a bullock cart. I ask not to go there.

From racquet-holding to competitive levels, I have been playing badminton at KAB. The coaches are very knowledgeable about the sport and give attention to each student from the very beginning. The coaches have created a unique fitness program that covers everything from warm up to cooling down. This unique method of footwork greatly reduces the chance of injury. Particular attention is given to mental and physical fitness. KAB is a fun, yet disciplined place to learn. KAB is a place I would recommend to anyone!

The Kelkar Badminton Academy offers the best training in Pune. The academy's mastermind, Neeta Kellyar, is a passionate coach with a great vision. Pune City has been a great place to play in recent years because of this passion and vision. They have passed the knowledge of stroke techniques, and more importantly, the stress on footwork. After the intensive training, many of the city's top players have gone from learning how to hold a Badminton racket and won tournaments. KAB (Kelkar Academy of Badminton), unlike any other academy in the area, is a comprehensive package that includes coaching and personal guidance.

In my school years, I was a Kelkar Academy student for four years. The 4 years were filled full of a combination of 1. You need to be able to cover the court well in order to get to every shuttle. Many combinations of strokes and stepping techniques such as 'Toss Smash Drop', '4 Points', and 'dropnet lift' made my basic stepping and strokes stronger. The "chair" concept was extremely beneficial for us. It was an unconventional practice. I learned to play with players and boys who were better than me. These and many other things helped me win matches for both my college team and my corporate matches. In an open badminton tournament, Bangalore, I won the women's singles title. This academy is a great choice for beginners.
